The Three Pathfinder Victoria Crosses

All the Victoria Crosses were gazetted in 1945, some time after the deaths of the recipients:

• Ian Willoughby Bazalgette, 635 Squadron, died 4 August 1944
• Robert Anthony Maurice Palmer, 109 Squadron, died 23 December 1944
• Edwin Swales, 582 Squadron, died 23 February 1945
