
This image in Norman McIntyre’s photograph album shows him receiving his Wings after completing his training as a navigator in Canada. Norman’s handwriting in silvery-white is the caption to the picture. This was a proud moment. Many candidates were washed out during the long and arduous training.
On Norman’s left shoulder, slightly out of focus, are the flashes which show his nationality.
